Discovery Announced on KUTV 2 News
Salt Lake City (June 13, 2025) 4Life Chief Scientific Officer Dr. David Vollmer announced the company’s discovery of plant-based transfer factors on KUTV 2 news during a FRESH LIVING segment.

4Life unveils groundbreaking discovery of transfer factor in plants.

KUTV reports: “For decades, scientists have known that all animals produce immune-regulating peptides known as transfer factors—tiny proteins that pass immune knowledge from mother to offspring via colostrum or egg yolk. Now, in a groundbreaking discovery, 4Life has identified these same powerful peptides in plants, opening the door to sustainable, plant-based immune system support.”

In partnership with UNIGEN, a premier plant research laboratory based in Tacoma, Washington, 4Life’s scientific team screened hundreds of plant species worldwide. They discovered Transfer Factor immune peptide bioactivity within Brassica napus seeds.

Following the discovery, 4Life secured a provisional patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) under application number 20250127834, covering plant-derived compositions that modulate cellular immunity.

4Life, The Immune System Company®, and the first to bring transfer factor research to market, has offices in dozens of countries to serve the company’s worldwide customers.
